UDHA is open to a wide variety of talents and ambitions. We welcome people from all fields and creativities to come join our team for a better Uganda. We are in need of volunteers in a variety of positions.
- Health Care
- Doctors
- Nurses
- Social Workers
- Community Mobilizers: Promote nutrition, Water Guard, and immunizations
- Counselors: A counselor is needed for those who are testing and receiving results for STI's like HIV/AIDS
- Midwives
- Pharmacists
- Primary school teachers
- Fundraiser - what organization, especially an NGO! doesn't need funding. We have many projects (health centers that don't have medications or vocational schools with no place to practice their taught trade) that simply need more money.
- Trade workers:
- Construction Workers
- Technicians
- Electricians, or any trade to teach or simply use here. As our office grows, so do our needs! If you have a trade skill then we are in need of your abilities. To work on our office, go out into the community, or teach at one of our locations, a specific trade skill is in high need.
- Vocational Skills Teacher - Our clinic will soon begin teaching weekly classes to the community in a wide variety of subjects, including but not limited to: Nutrition, Age Specific Sexual Education, Farming techniques and practices, and specific (light) vocational training such as tailoring, bicycle repair, or carpentry and building.
- Youth Program Coordinator and/or Sports Teacher- Youth activities, movie nights and games like football or scrabble is going to be a big part of the UDHA office a nd community program. We want Iganga youth to be in a safe, comfortable and inviting environment.
